Made In Bangladesh Electric Car

The number of personal vehicles is on the rise and so is the demand for four-wheelers. In order to meet this demand, many countries are now producing four-wheelers. Bangladesh Auto Industry Limited has announced the production of four-wheelers in Bangladesh. This news has been shared by Bangladesh Investment Development Organization (BIDO).

The production is scheduled to start in 2020-2021 in the Mirsarai Economic Zone in Chittagong. The plant will have the capacity to produce 60% of a car (chassis, battery, software, etc.).



The probable price range of these products is as follows:Sedan: 12 – 15 LakhsSEV: 20 LakhsHatchback: Below 8 LakhsAt the same time, motorcycles will also be produced at the plant. The probable price range for these motorcycles is 50,000/- to 1,50,000/-. The motorcycles will have a range of 400 kilometers on a single charge.The most interesting part is that the battery of the electric cars will support up to 10 years. The company is starting its business with 200 million dollars.
