Recondition Car Import Tax in Bangladesh 2023
The government has been struggling to recondition the local car market due to the high taxes imposed on imported vehicles. The new tax regime is expected to make imported cars more expensive, thereby making the locally assembled cars more attractive to buyers. The government is also mulling over the imposition of a luxury tax on imported cars. The move is aimed at discouraging people from importing luxury cars and help boost the sales of locally assembled cars.
